The key is not to cover the dark circles... but rather to eliminate them, altogether. They can be caused by a number of things, including: Smoking, too much sun, too much/little sleep. Dark circles aren't caused by the skin, itself, changing color. It's the blood vessels (capillaries) in the under eye area, showing through the VERY thin skin, we all have under our eyes. My suggestions are as follows: Always (and I do mean ALWAYS) wear sun screen... nothing ages you faster that ultra-violet rays. Secondly... find a good eye cream (there are many on the market that don't carry a heft price tag; Loreal, Olay, Almay... most run between $7-$25) the skin under the eye has no glands to provide natural lubrication to the delicate skin under the eye, so it's most important to protect it with a cream meant specifically for the eye area. And finally... it's summer... and liquid (be it concealer or foundation) is going to melt away with heat and sweat... go with a light dusting powder (True Match by Revlon is a good one) and with a small BRUSH (not sponge or pad) lightly apply it to the under eye area. Follow these simple rules, and you will glow.'ve normal skin %26amp;dark circles.shud I use liquid/powder foundation%26amp;what type of concealers?don't want oily look
not sure about brand but anything that contains silicone works

save up for Bobbi Brown cream concealer It costs a little over $20.00 but I have had mine for a year and i am still using it. a little works wonders!! as far as foundation I like Revlon new compexion powder cream make up compact you control the coverage and it does not look cakey.
Revlon Colorstay is thick and covers everything. However, it also sticks to the skin and it is hard to remove. If you want a better brand with the same durability, I suggest Prescriptives Flawless foundation. It is $40 but it does wonders for the skin.
none of those products are as great as Mary Kay!!! we have a FANTASTIC new highlighting pen that removes dark circles from your eyes and shadows on your face!!! also our foundation cant be beat- we aren't the number one selling brand for ten years in a row for nothing!!! and we cost about the same as over the counter!! if you would like some samples, let me know!!!
Everfresh concealer made by maybelline is the greatest.... and it only costs less than 10$ CAN per tube (it lasts me about 6 months). totally worth it for value and for coverage ;)
Avon has a product out called Anew clinical eye lift.It reduces the dark circles and gives you a eye lift at the same time.IT REALLY WORKS.I have been using it and it works great.

I like cover-girl, but for the dark circle, it's very very important to get the correct shade or it would worse(with wrong shade, and dark circle could look greenish), so i suggest you can go to stores like sephora to try out the shades first, then go back to drug store and find the closest shade.

A super cheap way to do, without spending anymore money and ensure the correct shade with your face/foundation, is before you start putting on make up, take a little bit of liquid foundation out on the side, make sure it's got some thinkness(in a waterdrop shape, not flat out on a surface), wait for couple min till it dry, then then use ur finger to rub it soft again. it works great (but depends on the brand u use though, the thin foundation wouldn't have as good effect) But it's worth a try before you spend money on concealer~!
get yah concealer form Maybelline. They hv a good one thats not drying. It beats even a M.A.C in my opinion. Maybelline's one hv just enuf moisture without being /feel oily... One tube last me for very very long i cant even remember........ two thumbs up.
I got this great stuff at Sally's beauty supply for dark circles. I forgot what it's called but it has a medical sounding name and costs about 20 bucks. It's perrrrfect.
i like the maybelline the best. i would recommend it in the liquid form. and with the foundation, i wouldn't use it unless you have to , it blocks up your pores. now with the powder i would recommend just putting some on the t- zone and any other parts that tend to get oily through out the day.
