How come guys use foundation cream i think theyd better use concealers?

I see some guys use foundation cream no matter they look great as the movie stars, but i find it very embarassing, i think they had better use concealersHow come guys use foundation cream i think theyd better use concealers?
My boyfriend has a bit of Roscea (sp?) on his face, meaning that his cheeks and nose are always a bit red.


He gets embarassed by it so I suggested make-up.


We first tried concealer. All kinds of concealer. It just seemed to make him break out in pimples.


So then we moved onto foundation. None of the foundations we have used have made him break out.


I think that a lot of concealers are grease based, and so make men get blemishes more than women as their skin is already more oily.


But by using a water based foundation, we were able to find a pimple free solution.





I guess you just have to find what works for you.





But, as a MUA, I find that concealer doesn't give a very even finish if you wear it on it's own, and so if you were to wear concealer, it'd be best to wear a little foundation or powder as well to even your skin tone out a little.
