place the foundation first on ur skin that way it won't get all absorbed by the sponge... start with lil dots not too close together cuz then would have placed alot... just like two in ur forehead ,one in the middle and at each sides. One on ur nose .... a couple on ur cheek... and chin .Then even it out with the sponge.Remember don't apply thick dots cuz then u will have too much foundation. just dab the sponge in the foundation (or pour a little on) and put it o your skin . and no you do not need to wet it.
i put the foundation on my face with my fingers. then go with the sponge and smooth it threw my face. with the tip of the sp0nge not the whole thing.
the best way to apply cream foundation with a sponge is, use a fine mesh natural sponge dampen it first with a little warm water, then evenly apply to face aand neck gently.
you can do it wet or dry. If you dampen the sponge a little it should help you spread and blend better. Also try a foundation primer. They help the foundation go on smoothly and stay put!
i put little dots of cream on parts of my face and then rub it in with the sponge :)

I put a big blob on and then put a bit on my forehead cheeks chin and nose. Then i rub it in and use the exes down my neck so it look natural.
just put a little bit of foundation on the sponge then apply it to your face, make sure to blend it evenly
Literally squeeze a little foundation onto a makeup sponge and then apply to your face (wiping the sponge on your face) - applying more foundation to the sponge, as necessary.





Then use the sponge to fully blend - eliminating any streaks or lines - for a matte effect, finish by lightly brushing translucent powder, over the top.





Basically, practice the technique, until you're happy with the result.
