Even though I ice skate, I still get sweaty, I just want to know what concealer would be the best so it won't disappear. I know people say put a light powder over it, but I don't want to wear a ton of makeup to my practice, just the concealer and lip gloss. I also have a normal skin complection, not oily, but not dry.
I have tried Almay (too cakey) and Sonia Kashuk (didn't really cover anything), but thats about it.Is liquid concealer good for sports?
try a cream concealer or the liquid but dust a bit of powder over it, to set it in place. It doesn't even have to be a colored powder, try translucent. I use it and love it. I am definitely a minimal make up kind of girl and this does not look fake.
If you end up thinking it looks a bit chalky (like if the colored powder is too light for your skin tone), pat a slightly damp make up sponge over it to blend a bit. Dont rub it though, just a light pat. It lifts off the excess powder. Is liquid concealer good for sports?
I don't recommed liquid concealer for any kind of sport, since it is very light and will definitely disappear with your sweat. I recommend cream concealers, for they stay on for a longer period of time. If you don't want to use a little bit of powder on top of it (even though it is recommended), you might want to opt for a cream concealer as close as possible to your natural skin tone. I would recommend BOING from Benefit. It is a little bit more expensive than drugstores concealers, but it stays on all day long, its texture blends very well with your skin (you won't need powder) and it looks very natural but covers every dark circle under your eyes. Hope this helps. Take care ...
I use powder concealer.
Ummmm It works pretty good for me
I play several sports as well and I also had problems finding good coverage. One answer is to use tinted moisturizer instead of a concealer, it is not as thick, but still has good coverage and looks totally natural. If you do want to use a concealer, try using physician's formula (which is good for your skin!) It is great even when you sweat, and it won't run or come off. My best tip is just to clean your face both before you put on makeup and after, i suggest using cetaphil or neutrogena face wash.
