What works better..powder concealer or liquid concealer?

It depends on what you want to achieve with your makeup and your skin type.





Powder concealer is best for oily skin because it absorbs oil and sweat and absorbs shine. It also lasts longer (usually a full day) and is easy to take with you to retouch intermittently. It provides a lot of coverage for blemishes, but also causes blemishes because it blocks the pores in the skin.





Liquid concealer is best for dry or normal skin because it is lighter and more translucent, creating a shine. More expensive brands usually also contain light-reflecting pigments, which minimises the appearance of bumps and incongruencies. Liquid cakes more, so I usually use powder. It really just depends on how much you need it. Like if I'm having a bad face day, then I'll use liquid because it covers a little more.
