im 14 and i have like dark circles and i was wondering which concealer is better... or at least what is the diff between liquid and the other? i would like recommendations on which brands that are good when it comes to concealers, well just brands u can find at the drugstore like maybeline or rimmel..cover girl so on. oh and, dont concealer and foundation work the same?Concealer.. liquid vs the ones that come in lipstick form?
I'd say the creamier versions. Liquid ones can crease in the lines around your eyes and really age you.
Gemma Kidd Make-up School makes an amazing Concealer Duo with one pink-based concealer for covering grey circles/under eyes and one yellow based for covering redness/uneven skin tone.
They stay on for ages. But to answer your question, foundation is for ALL over lighter coverage, and concealer is for long lasting coverage in smaller areas. Do not mix them up! Minimal is best.Concealer.. liquid vs the ones that come in lipstick form?
I think that tube form is better. liquid can be smeared easily and don't dry that quickly. you would look much more natural with the paste base.
Creamier concealers are best for under the eyes. You can apply it with a small brush. Apply only where needed and set with a loose translucent powder. Concealer and foundation are totally different things. Maybe someone will explain it, I don't want to.............
Concealer is more for like ';spot'; treatments, foundation is used for large spaces, such as evening out the tones of your entire face. I use foundation to mask my circles and blemishes. The one I currently use and LOVE is called Visibly Even by Neutrogena. Apparently it improves skin tone. I'm not sure about that, but I know it stays put very well. I usually use my liquid foundation and then a powdered foundation over it, like those green covergirl compacts that are pretty cheap at basically any store. That way there's no shine. It also helps my eyeliner stay put very well, and if you need a quick adjustment you just pat a little powder on and you're set.
Hope that helps. :)
To cover up dark circles, YSL is probably the best concealer in the market http://www.mydarkcirclesblog.com/2006/11鈥?/a>
If you would like to know how to apply concealer, here are few simple steps that you can follow...
1. To hide dark under eye circles, select a cosmetic under-eye concealer that鈥檚 one shade lighter than the foundation you鈥檙e using.
2. Understand that a pale yellowish concealer helps hide blue or grayish circles, while a light blue or mauvish concealer masks brownish under-the-eye bags.
3. Begin with a freshly washed and exfoliated face. Dab concealer under your eyes gently, using a soft circular motion.

I';m 15 and I have dark circles under my eyes, I wen to walmart and bought some luquid concealer, just dab it under your eyes and they'll never know.
For my dark circle, I always like the liquid one, as I only believe my finger to apply it, without sponge or any other things. It gives me more natural looks.
Make Up For Ever concealer is the best.
The best concealer out there is Stila Perfecting Concealer. You can find it at Sephora, and some department stores for $20. It has the best coverage, and you only have to use a little, which will be perfect for you since you're 14.
Now, I realize you were asking for drugstore brands, but I do want to encourage you to try some of the department store brands too. The reason is most of the drugstore brands are just as expensive, maybe a ';few'; dollars less than the others. And, they're definately not good for your skin.
The most important thing is to take great care of your skin and be cautious about what you put on it. Brands like Clinique and Stila are very affordable, and they're designed to be better for your skin. And the best part, is they last longer than the drugstore brands! Doesn't it make sense to pay $20 for one tube of concealer that will last 3 months, instead of paying $10 for one that will only last one month?
Don't be shy about asking the girls that work at those counters for advice. That's why they are there. They will want to help you pick the right products for your age and skin type.
And, foundation isn't the same as concealer. Foundation is for your entire face and is very light. Concealer is to target problem areas and is heavier. Again, stop by a makeup counter and ask one of the girls there to show you.
Have fun!
i use rimmel and its the lipstick kind. my mom gets it so idk where its from sorry.
